Case Study: IT Governance and Security Consulting
governance / Security
Our client is the manufacturing partner to some of the world’s largest retailers and brand owners, producing more than two billion units of consumer products each year. Founded in 1995 as a single facility manufacturer, the company has experienced exponential growth over it’s 15 year life span. Today, our client has over 3,000 employees and operates 17 manufacturing facilities strategically located in 14 different sites throughout Canada and the United States.
In 2011 our client was faced with immediate Canadian Sarbanes-Oxley Act (C-SOX) Compliance requirements but lacked the internal expertise to meet these requirements.
Horn IT provided IT Governance and Security Consulting services to outline a SOX-404 compliance project at a governance and technical level, and then implemented that project.
Horn IT implemented the C-SOX Compliance project and delivered results under-time, under-budget and above standard.
“Paul and the staff at Horn IT were engaged to develop policies for our IT function and to develop an application that would allow us to identify potential segregation of duties issues in our two ERP systems. The documentation they provided is of a high calibre and the application they developed operates effectively and efficiently. All Horn IT staff members were highly professional in their approach and delivered what was promised on time and on budget. I highly recommend Paul and Horn IT.”
